Manually Copy and Paste from the Extension​

Sometimes a job application form isn't automatically detected by the extension, or you may want to copy specific values to paste yourself. Here's how to do it.

Open the extension on any page​

Click the Applyology icon in your browser toolbar to open the extension. Your profile data is always accessible, even if the extension hasn't detected a form on the current page.

Copy a field value​

In the extension, find the field you want (e.g. your phone number, LinkedIn URL, or a custom answer). Click the copy icon next to it to copy the value to your clipboard, then paste it directly into the form field.

When this is useful​

  • The application is on a platform the extension doesn't fully support
  • The form uses custom or embedded fields that can't be autofilled
  • You want to paste a specific answer into a free-text box
  • You're filling out a PDF or downloadable application form
