Install the Browser Extension

The Applyology browser extension is how you apply to jobs. It detects application forms on employer websites and fills them in using your profile data.

Install

After completing onboarding, you'll be prompted to download the browser extension.

Extension onboarding

Clicking Install Extension opens the Applyology listing in the Chrome Web Store. On Google Chrome, click Add to Chrome to install.

On Microsoft Edge, the same Chrome Web Store listing shows a banner that lets you install the extension on Edge — click Get extension (or Get) to install.

Once installed, pin the extension to your browser toolbar for easy access. Open the extensions menu and click the pin icon next to Applyology.

Once pinned, the Applyology icon stays visible in your browser toolbar.

The screenshots above are from Google Chrome. Microsoft Edge uses the same Chromium extensions menu — the layout is slightly different, but the pin icon works the same way.

Your saved jobs and application sessions are accessible directly from the extension.

Apps and sessions in the extension

You only need to do this once — the extension stays connected across browser sessions.

Extension onboarding

The first time you open the extension, a short in-app onboarding tour walks you through the My Profile, Employers, and Apply tabs so you know what each one does before you start applying.

You can skip the tour at any time — it doesn't gate anything in the extension.

What the extension does

  • Detects job postings — recognizes when you're viewing a job listing and lets you save it
  • Detects application forms — identifies form fields on employer application pages
  • Autofills your information — maps your profile data to the right fields
  • Tracks your progress — keeps a record of saved jobs, in-progress applications, and completed submissions
